I wanted to work in a knowledge-rich environment with great people. Elgin is a growing company with rich experience. Joining a growing company at a vital stage where I get to be part of the growth was a yes for me.

Also, the perks of the job are top notch, and the people are amazing. I am with the Asset Management team (EAM), working on engineering design, simulation, and asset management of utility-scale solar PV + battery sites. The best part of being in Elgin is that I get to learn about different facets of the solar industry, starting from site origination, through construction to asset management and energy trading.

Elgin has such a diverse group of people who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and experiences, both career and social. My daily work ranges from feasibility designs to pre-construction designs and technical asset management of our built sites. Constantly learning and researching on new technologies in the solar and battery industry

One of the first things you notice when you walk into the office is that it is an open-plan office. This makes it so much easier to learn, as everyone in the office is easily approachable.

Everyone in the office is so friendly and always willing to help with any issues you may have. The openness of the office also allows you to get involved with other aspects of the company. Just by being there, you often get asked to help other people with different parts of their projects, allowing the chance to gain experience across the different stages of the business.
